Attendees will learn the fundamentals of the composer’s process as well as industry practices of working with and as a film composer. Topics include the associative power of the leitmotif, spotting sessions, temp tracks, finding the right composer/musician, vocabulary for clear communication and direction, and more.

Dr. Trinity Vélez-Justo is a composer and sound designer for media through ReelScoring, LLC and is the Director of Film & Media Scoring and Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Georgia’s Hugh Hodgson School of Music.
