The film industry is growing in Athens...but not without the Film Community.

About Us

The film community in Athens, Georgia has experienced exponential growth in the last few years, and we are long overdue for a film festival that we can call our own. We are eager to present films that the Athens and greater Atlanta community will deeply appreciate and connect with.

ACFF is certain to bring people together to share a love for film, sparking collaboration and inspiring epiphanies yet unknown. The festival will both harness and contribute to the thriving Georgia film scene.

The Athens Film Festival aims to strengthen and embolden the local film community by bringing together top filmmakers, cinephiles, and enthusiasts to celebrate film in Athens.
